The Macallan – Classic Cut 2019 Edition Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 52.9%)

This is The Macallan Classic Cut 2019 Edition, a cask strength single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in the annual Classic Cut series and is bottled at 52.9% ABV. The Whisky Maker chose that strength to bring out a dominant sweetness and the balanced flavours of the Sherry Oak casks used. Leaving the whisky to breathe for 10 to 15 minutes is recommended. Once it has opened up, the flavours are described as citrus, sweet vanilla and spice, followed by a long, dry oak finish.
