The Macallan Classic Cut 2019 Edition is a cask strength single malt, the second in a limited annual series. It is bottled at 52.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The Whisky Maker chose that strength to bring out a dominant sweetness and the balanced flavours of the sherry oak casks it was matured in.
After 10 to 15 minutes in the glass, citrus, sweet vanilla and spice come forward, followed by a long, dry oak finish.
