The Macallan Classic Cut 2019 is a limited edition single malt from the annual Classic Cut series, in a 750ml bottle. It was matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and bottled at a higher natural strength. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
This edition leans towards sweetness, spice and citrus.
The nose shows orange peel, sweet ginger, vanilla and light oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with honeyed citrus, warming spice, toasted oak and subtle dried fruit. The finish is long, smooth and warming, with ginger, citrus zest and soft oak sweetness.
