The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 Edition is a Speyside single malt, the fourth release in the annual Classic Cut series. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour.
The whisky was matured in hand-picked European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez, Spain.
The nose combines vanilla pod, honeycomb, orange peel, dried apricot and sultanas with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied, with vanilla, toffee, crème brûlée, dried figs, baked apple, orange marmalade and milk chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with sweet oak, dried fruit, cinnamon and dark chocolate.
