The Macallan – Classic Cut 2021 Edition Cask Strength (70cl, 51%)

The 2021 Edition of The Macallan Classic Cut, a cask strength single malt bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is natural, a golden oak. The Whisky Mastery Team created it to show the part that ex-bourbon American oak casks play in The Macallan's range. Their lighter sweetness is combined with the depth of the distillery's sherry seasoned American oak casks. The nose brings orange zest and oil, fresh vanilla and ginger, with fruit jellies and marzipan. On the palate there is fresh oak, gingerbread, vanilla custard and cinnamon, and the finish is medium sweet with spiced fruit.
