The Macallan Classic Cut 2023 Edition is a single malt from an annual limited release series, bottled at 51% abv (102 proof). It was matured in European and American oak casks that were seasoned with sherry.
The 2023 release brings bright citrus, creamy vanilla and warming spice over the distillery's rich malt character. The nose is orange zest, vanilla pod, honey, soft oak and baked apple. On the palate there is sweet caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and candied citrus peel, and the finish is long and warming, with oak spice and gentle sweetness.
