The Macallan – Double Cask 12 Years Old

The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is a Macallan whisky matured for 12 years in a combination of American and European oak casks. For the first time, the distillery chose new American oak casks and sent them to Spain to take on a touch of sherry character. The casks then travelled to the distillery in Scotland, where the whisky spent its 12 years of maturation.
