This is a 15 year old single malt from The Macallan, matured in two kinds of oak: European oak casks seasoned with sherry, and American oak casks. It is matured at the Macallan distillery for a minimum of 15 years.
The pairing of sherry-seasoned European oak with American oak is the basis of the Double Cask style, and the result is described as smooth and delicate while remaining complex.
