This is The Macallan Double Cask 30 Year Old, a single malt from the Easter Elchies estate in Speyside, in a 75cl bottle.
It spent thirty years in oak seasoned with sherry, both American and European. The American oak is associated with vanilla and butterscotch, the European oak with dried fruit and spice, and at this age the two are described as fully integrated.
