The Macallan Edition No. 4 is a Speyside single malt without an age statement, in a 75cl bottle at 48.4% ABV.
It is the fourth annual release in the Edition series, made in collaboration with master perfumer Roja Dove. He worked with The Macallan's whisky maker to choose casks that express the aromatic qualities of the spirit, using American and European sherry seasoned oak.
His focus was on bringing out the honey, cherry and spice character of the whisky.
