The Macallan Edition No 6 is a Speyside single malt from 2020, bottled at 48.6% ABV. It has a deep gold colour.
The nose is peppery, with slight sherry notes, tobacco, leaf mulch, sultana, praline and coffee. On the palate come chocolate, tobacco, wet leaves, damp earth and walnuts, with more sultanas and a bitter Seville marmalade note. The finish is of good length and warming, with gingerbread, dark fruits and a touch of hessian and earthiness.
