The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the sixth and final release in the Harmony Collection, and a limited edition.
It was matured in sherry-seasoned American oak and ex-bourbon casks, and its coconut character comes from that cask selection rather than any added flavouring. Citrus, vanilla and tropical fruit sit alongside it.
The nose offers fresh coconut, lime, lemon, mango, papaya, vanilla and almond, with sweet oak and gentle baking spice. Coconut milk, dried coconut, sweet citrus and vanilla sponge lead the palate, and the finish is bright and floral, with lingering coconut and honeyed sweetness.
