The Macallan – Harmony Collection Rich Cacao (70cl)

The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is a single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in a combination of European and American oak casks. It is the first edition, from 2021, in a new annual series of limited releases. The whisky is a collaboration with pastry chef Jordi Roca of the three Michelin star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. Whisky Maker Polly Logan travelled to Girona, Spain, to explore chocolate making and flavour at Casa Cacao. The nose offers chocolate fondant, honey, oak, zesty lime and ginger. On the palate come dark chocolate, honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon, and the finish is long with rich chocolate.
