The Macallan M Black is a 2020 release of single malt Scotch whisky, presented in a decanter and bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It pairs peated malt with the craftsmanship of Lalique and pours a golden colour.
The nose opens with dark chocolate and cherry, moving to vanilla and peat, with delicate wood spices, dried fruit and treacle. The palate brings warming spice and peat alongside black forest fruits, vanilla, dark chocolate, ginger and fig, with orange oil running through it. The finish is long, with peat smoke and a raisin sweetness.
