The Macallan – Rare Cask (75cl, 43%)

The Macallan Rare Cask is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is part of The Macallan's standard range. It is made only from first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks, which make up less than 1% of the casks maturing at the distillery at any given time. Because each bottling is selected from the casks that meet that standard, it carries no age statement. First-fill sherry casks are generally associated with dried fruit, spice and richness.
