A 30 year old single malt from The Macallan, matured at Easter Elchies Estate in Speyside and supplied in a 75cl bottle.
The Sherry Oak series uses only sherry-seasoned European oak casks from González Byass, with no American oak involved at any stage of maturation. Three decades in those casks give the whisky a full generation of sherry influence.
It is described as having dark fruit, chocolate and warming spice, with a creamy texture.
