The Macallan Sienna belongs to the 1824 Series, which is built around single malts chosen for their colour and flavour, using a range of casks and whiskies of different ages, with no age statement. Sienna is matured exclusively in sherry oak casks.
Vanilla, zest and fresh green apples come first. The palate opens with dates, figs and raisins, then gives way to nutmeg and ginger before the vanilla returns. The finish is gentle, smooth and warming.
