The Macallan TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask is a 20 year old single malt at 44.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the third chapter of the TIME : SPACE Collection, following the 200th-anniversary TIME : SPACE and TIME : SPACE Mastery.
After 20 years in sherry-seasoned oak on The Macallan Estate, the whisky was married in a small selection of the first 200 casks seasoned at The Macallan's own Valdespino bodega in Jerez, which arrived in 2024 for the 200th anniversary. It is the first Macallan influenced by casks seasoned with its own Valdespino sherry.
The nose offers sherry-soaked raisins, figs and medjool dates, with frangipane and dark chocolate truffles. The palate brings dried fruit, ginger cake and treacle toffee, closing on cocoa nibs and polished oak.
