The Nailed Puppet is an 11 year old Speyside single malt, bottled by Brave New Spirits under its Whisky of Voodoo label. It is bottled at 52.6% and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was aged in second-fill bourbon barrels, which give it tropical fruit, creamy honey and a subtly sweet smoke.
The nose brings spiced pineapple, ripe banana, sweet peach and gala melon, with creamy notes alongside. On the palate it is sweet and creamy yet tangy, with citrus, dry spice, peach, apricot and honey, then sweet popcorn and cinnamon buns. The finish is warming and long.
