This is a 15 year old single malt from Glen Ord, bottled under the Singleton of Dufftown name for the 2022 Special Releases. It comes in a 20cl bottle at 54.2%.
The whisky was aged in refill American and European oak, then given a second maturation in wine-seasoned casks.
The nose is soft, with wine, spicy oak, beechwood, red berries and vanilla. On the palate it is sweet, with barley, salt, gooseberry, fresh grapes and a spicy bite. The finish is long and peppery.
