The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 Year Old is a Highlands single malt bottled for the 2022 Special Releases, where it forms part of the Elusive Expressions group. It is bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was aged in refill American and European oak, then given a second maturation in wine-seasoned casks.
The nose is gentle, with wine, spicy oak, beechwood, red berries and vanilla. The palate is sweet, with barley, salt, gooseberry, fresh grapes and a peppery bite. The finish is long, with peppery spice.
