The nose is mellow and vinous, with fruit cake, wine-soaked raisins, candied orange peel and toasted almonds, and some butterscotch later. The palate is light in texture, fruity then spicy, with clove-studded oranges and burnt raisins. The finish is long and warming, drying, with a light spicy sweetness.
