This is a 39 year old single malt from Glen Ord, bottled at 46.2% vol. in a 70cl bottle. Only 1,695 bottles were filled.
It matured in oak casks, some of which had previously held sherry. The colour is a deep gold.
The nose offers dried apricots and plums with sweet caramel and chocolate. On the palate it is soft and round, with caramel and chocolate sweetness against oak, spice and a little smoke. The finish is long and warm, with gentle smoke and spice.
