This is The Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old Luscious Nectar, a Speyside single malt in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
It is matured mainly in American oak casks, with a smaller share of European oak added to balance the spirit. The result is an easy single malt with fresh fruit aromas, a sweet honeyed palate and a creamy finish.
The nose is fresh, light and clean, with scented leather, sandalwood and vanilla. The palate is spicy at first, then soft and sweet, with citrus, raisins, vanilla and a hint of honey. The finish is short, creamy and smooth.
