This is The Singleton of Glendullan 14 Year Old, the 2023 Special Release from the Speyside distillery, in a 20cl bottle at 55% ABV.
Casks for this release were selected to bring out freshness and lift the natural sweetness of a spirit known for an elegant, fruit-forward profile.
The nose offers green apples, honeycomb, soft vanilla and orchard blossom. The palate is smooth and bright, with ripe pear, citrus zest, buttery toffee and malt sweetness. The finish is medium to long, with lingering apple, gentle oak spice and warm malt.
