The Singleton of Glendullan 14 Year Old The Silken Gown is a Speyside single malt from the 2023 Special Release series. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 55% in a 70cl bottle.
After maturation the whisky is finished in Chardonnay de Bourgogne French oak casks.
The nose is clean and crisp, with green apple, white grapes and a hint of pear, followed by crème anglaise on puff pastry and a note of spun honey. The palate opens toffee-sweet, balanced by golden fruit acidity and light spice. The finish is medium in length, spicy and smooth.
