This is The Singleton of Glendullan Select, bottled as the House Tully edition of the Game of Thrones single malt collection. Glendullan is a Speyside distillery on the River Fiddich, founded in 1897, and the river links it to the Tullys, who hold Riverrun and carry a leaping trout as their sigil.
The whisky was matured in American and European oak casks and bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It comes in an illustrated tube with the Tully trout and house words, and was one of eight bottlings released in 2019.
The nose leads with orchard fruit and vanilla over soft nuttiness. On the palate, sweet malt carries apple, pear and toffee, and the finish closes on soft oak spice.
Tasting Notes
Orchard fruit and vanilla, soft nuttiness, light floral notes
