The Six Isles Batch Strength (58%)

The Six Isles Batch Strength is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Ian Macleod, who blended and bottled it. It brings together single malts from six Scottish islands, among them Islay, Orkney, Jura and Skye, and is bottled at 58% without filtration. The islands each contribute their own character, from the peaty smoke of Islay to honeyed, heathery notes from Orkney and salty sea air from Jura. The overall profile is described as smoke, salty coast, sweet wood, fine spice and dark fruit.
