This is a single cask Ben Nevis from The Ultimate range, bottled by van Wees. It was distilled on 17 October 2013 and bottled on 24 June 2021, after seven years in a single ex-bourbon cask, cask 416.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 60.5%, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose offers ripe peach, banana and mango with vanilla, butterscotch and a little coconut. On the palate come pineapple, honey, white pepper, oak and clove. The finish is long and warming, moving from sweet vanilla to spicy oak with a hint of salty minerality.
