Distilling is overseen by the German master distiller Wilhelm Northoff at the Feinbrennerei Northoff, which makes its whisky on Scottish lines. The Westfalian is still a young whisky.
Alongside the whisky, the Feinbrennerei also breeds Scottish Galloway cattle.
