An 8-year-old blended malt from The Whisky Cellar, part of its Private Cellars Selection, bottled at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no colouring added.
The whisky matured in first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry seasoned casks, which give it a deep sherry character.
On the nose it shows ripe fruit, dark chocolate and fine spice with a touch of sherry. The palate is full and powerful, with nuts, prunes and spicy wood. The finish is long, warm and lightly peppery, with sherry lingering.
