The Whiskymaker's Edition Equinox The Lakes

Equinox is part of The Lakes' Whiskymaker's Edition series, which sets out to show what the distillery's malt can do. Each blend is different, and this one was put together by whisky maker Sarah Burgess and includes ex-bourbon casks. It was inspired by a vibrant dawn that joins a warm summer evening to the promise of an amber autumn morning, and is described as a celebration of balance, change and reflection. The nose offers apples, fresh apricots, warm spices and a note of sandalwood. The palate mixes summer fruit, orange blossom and sweet spices, and the finish is rich and vibrant, with lingering spice.
