The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask is an Irish single malt from the Boann Distillery, bottled at 46%. It is finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily, which add a winey character to the malt.
Boann is the distillery behind the Whistler range and has a reputation for experimenting with maturation and cask types.
The nose is fresh, with red berries, citrus and soft honey. The palate turns to juicy fruit, caramel and toasted nuts. The finish is long, round and sweet, with a touch of vanilla and dried fruit.
