The White Cask Speyside First Fill Edition (1L)

The White Cask Speyside First Fill Edition is a Speyside single malt in a one-litre bottle. It was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks made of North American white oak, Quercus alba, a wood favoured by bourbon makers. The first-fill casks are chosen to pass on plenty of vanilla, honey, citrus and apple notes to the whisky. The nose brings crusty bread and vanillin oak with sweet caramelised apples. On the palate there is buttered toast with soft, sweet fruit. The finish is soft and sweet, with a silky sweetness that lingers well after the last sip.
