A cask strength Georgia straight bourbon from Thirteenth Colony Distillery in Americus, bottled at natural barrel proof without dilution.
It is double oaked: after its first maturation the bourbon goes into a second new charred oak barrel. In the glass it is a very deep amber.
The nose is intense vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. The palate is bold and rich, with fresh charred wood layered over the bourbon beneath. The finish is long and led by oak.
