Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye 2021 is an American straight rye whiskey, named after the New Orleans bartender who first used rye in the Sazerac Cocktail.
It is uncut and unfiltered, and is bottled directly from the barrel.
The whiskey is powerful, lush and boldly spicy. Toffee, fig cake and candied fruit come first, followed by mint, cinnamon and clove. The finish brings subtle allspice, coconut and nutmeg, long and warm.
