A straight rye whiskey from the 2021 Antique Collection, named after the New Orleans bartender who first used rye in the Sazerac cocktail. It was distilled in the spring of 2015 and aged in warehouses I, L and M. Bottled uncut and unfiltered, straight from the barrel, at 64.75% ABV (129.5 proof) in a 75cl bottle, it is among the highest strengths for this whiskey since 2012. The nose is floral, with anise, marmalade and meringue. Baking spice, orange peel and subtle dark chocolate lead the palate, and the long finish brings cinnamon, praline and candied orange.
