Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye 2022 Release (75cl, 65.5%)

Thomas H. Handy Sazerac is a straight rye whiskey, here in its 2022 release, in a 750ml bottle at 65.45% ABV. It is bottled straight from the barrel, uncut and unfiltered. The barrels were filled in 2016 at 125 proof, and after more than six years of ageing the whiskey had reached 130.9 proof. Each bottle is filled and labelled by hand. The nose shows anise, cinnamon, raisin and a touch of orange zest. On the palate come pepper, floral notes, tobacco and plenty of spice, followed by a rich, long finish of cinnamon and raisin.
