Thomas S. Moore Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finish is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 47.65% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was made at Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown from the distillery's high-rye recipe and aged for many years in new charred oak. It then spent a further extended period in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks, a finish lasting additional years rather than months.
It is one of the three original Thomas S. Moore cask finishes, launched in December 2020. The producer describes a bold taste of dark fruit, caramel and vanilla.
