Thomas S. Moore Port Cask Finish Bourbon Whiskey is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown. It is bottled at 49.45% ABV.
The recipe is high in rye. The bourbon was aged for many years in new charred oak, then given a further extended finish in Port wine casks. It is one of the three original Thomas S. Moore cask finishes, launched in December 2020.
It is described as soft and sweet, with subtle hints of vanilla and baking spices, and a little fruit from the Port cask.
