Tim Smith Southern Reserve Whiskey is a small-batch American whiskey at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made for Tim Smith Spirits by Two Trees Distilling Co. in Fletcher, North Carolina, using the distillery's proprietary all-natural wood-aging process. Tim Smith is a third-generation moonshiner from Climax, Virginia, known from Discovery Channel's Moonshiners. This whiskey combines sweet corn with mild rye and smoky, caramelized oak. The nose has sweet corn, caramelized oak and a thread of smoke. On the palate, sweet corn and mild rye move into smoky oak, and the finish is earthy and nutty with lingering warmth.
