Timboon Distillery – Port Expression Single Malt (50cl)

This is a single malt from Timboon Distillery in Australia, in a 50cl bottle. It is a single cask whisky, finished in a port cask. Josh Walker took over the old Timboon Distillery a few years ago and makes single malt in a traditional Scottish style. The distillery's story draws on Tom Delaney, a bootleg distiller of the 1890s who made Mountain Dew in the Timboon region. The port finish brings sweet dark fruit notes and a long, sustained finish.
