Tincup Rye is a rye whiskey named after Tin Cup, Colorado, an old mining town on the western side of the Colorado Rockies. It was made in the spirit of the original rye recipes of the 1850s, enjoyed by settlers and miners in Gunnison County.
The whiskey was distilled in Indiana and aged there for three years, then cut to proof with Rocky Mountain water. It is described as a bold, smooth rye with plenty of spice.
