Tobermory – 12 Year Old (70cl, 46.3%)

Tobermory 12 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It replaced the 10 Year Old and was launched in early 2019 to mark the return to production after the distillery closed for two years for refurbishment. The whisky is matured in first fill American oak and Bourbon casks, and it is non-chill filtered. Orange and citrus lead the nose, with rich oak behind. On the palate come sweet orange and creamy caramel over hints of spice, and the distillery's briny, salty edge is reported to remain.
