Togouchi Kiwami

Togouchi Kiwami is a Japanese blended whisky made by Sakurao Brewery & Distillery, formerly Chugoku Jozo. Kiwami means height in Japanese. Much of the Togouchi whisky is aged in an old railway tunnel beneath Hiroshima, which stays cool whatever the season and lets the whisky mature slowly. The nose is bright and elegant, with fresh grass and nuts. On the palate come hazelnut, chocolate and honey, and the finish carries subtle pepper and nutmeg spice.
