A 25 year old Highland single malt from Tomatin, bottled for Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. The spirit was laid down in February 1995 and bottled in March 2020 at a natural strength of 55.2% ABV.
It comes from a single ex-Bourbon barrel, number 13909, which yielded 267 bottles.
The nose offers pear, vanilla pods, green apple and walnut. The palate is creamy, with sweet barley, butterscotch and new wood. The medium-long finish brings bourbon, toffee ice cream and crème brûlée.
