This is a 14 year old Tomintoul, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023. It matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then received a finish in White Port barriques from Portugal, chosen by Master Distiller Robert Fleming.
The edition is limited to 5,610 bottles at 46%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The nose is described as red berries, freshly baked bread and strawberry tart, with cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is sweet, with stewed fruit, blackberry jam, shortbread, panna cotta, ginger and toasted oak. The finish brings raspberry coulis, crème caramel and cocoa powder, with cedar and pink pepper.
