This is a 14-year-old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release that matured first in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter casks. The smaller casks bring more contact between spirit and wood.
The nose offers chocolate fudge and maple. On the palate come ganache, raisins and roasted nuts, and the finish is long, with tiramisu and dark chocolate.
