Tomintoul 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It is made from a selection of bourbon casks, each aged for at least sixteen years.
The nose is creamy and sweet, with heather honey, soft nougat, vanilla fudge, toasted brioche and a squeeze of lemon. The palate is soft, nutty and well rounded, with crème brûlée, boiled sweets, mocha coffee and amaretti biscuits. The finish is warming, with cinnamon buns, lemon shortbread and brittle toffee.
