Tomintoul 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colouring.
The nose has honey and malt with fresh fruit, orange and lemon, a little oak and a light spice. On the palate come ripe apples and pears with a little vanilla, plus cinnamon and nutmeg.
The finish is long and warm, with a soft dryness, a light smokiness and sweet vanilla that lingers.
